Departure earlier in the morning to Gabes via the bac. Once arrived, you can make an optional oasis visit by a carriage (extra). Direction to Douz known as “The Desert Gate”.
Lunch at Touareg 3 stars Hotel (or similar), then visit Noueil ’s village and the sand dunes of Ghidma by crossing Chott El Djerid which is a huge salted lake area famous for its mirages. You will also enjoy a facultative ride dromedary (extra).
Finally, continue on to Zaafrane for accommodation under a tent camp.

Departure in the morning to Douz where you can visit the desert gate. Then you will visit the Tamezret village. Continuation to Matmata to discover one of its troglodyte houses constructed like craters in the desert’s middle.
Lunch at Diar El Barbar 3 stars Hotel (or similar) and proceed by Toujene where you can enjoy a photos break.
Finally, direction to Medenine for the Ghofras‘s visit and return to Djerba via the Bac.
